EOGs

EOG testing begins for most of our students next Tuesday.  A few things you can do at home to help your children be successful include getting them to bed early, making sure they have a good breakfast that includes fruit, making sure they are dressed comfortably for testing, and encouraging them about the test that morning.  We have all been working extremely hard, and we hope that all our students feel confident and ready to do their best.

Ms. Etchison will be offering tutoring for EOG reading from 7-7:30 in the morning and in the afternoon from 2:30-3:15. Tutoring will continue through Monday, May 18th.  Please take advantage!!

Language Arts News

In language arts, we are starting a new unit on The Glory Field.  All students should have a December/January syllabus for this unit that includes all assignments for the novel.  Every student should also have a copy of the novel to keep at home in order to complete reading assignments and other work related to the book.  If you don’t have a syllabus or were not here the day I gave out books, let me know ASAP!
